Delola Podshotel is a modern pod-style accommodation located in the heart of The Hague. We are not a traditional hotel, and we are not a hostel. Our guests stay in comfortable sleeping pods designed to provide privacy, comfort, convenience, and affordability.

About The Internship

Unlike traditional internships that focus primarily on reports and paperwork, this is a project-based internship where your work will have a visible impact on the business.

You will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing projects designed to improve Delola's growth, visibility, guest experience, and community engagement.

Please note:
Although this internship takes place within a hotel environment, you are not expected to run daily hotel operations. However, a basic understanding of front office and guest service is important, as all projects should contribute to improving the guest experience and supporting Delola's growth.

Project 1Delola Anniversary Event

Your first major project will be to help plan, organize, market, and execute the Delola Anniversary Event.

Responsibilities include:

• Event planning

• Vendor and participant outreach

• Sponsorship outreach

• Event marketing

• Social media promotion

• Budget management

• Event coordination

• Event execution

Project Deliverables:

• Complete event plan

• Event budget overview

• Marketing materials

• Vendor list

• Event execution

• Event evaluation report

Project Budget:
Maximum €250 (subject to approval)

Project 2Student Attraction & University Partnership Campaign

Your second major project will focus on positioning Delola as an attractive accommodation option for students, exchange students, interns, and international visitors.

Responsibilities include:

• Researching universities and colleges in The Hague and nearby cities

• Researching Erasmus and exchange student opportunities

• Building partnerships with educational institutions

• Contacting student associations and organizations

• Developing student-focused accommodation campaigns

• Competitor research

• Creating recommendations to attract student guests

Project Deliverables:

• University contact database

• Partnership opportunities report

• Competitor analysis

• Student attraction strategy

• At least one implemented campaign or initiative

Project Budget:
Maximum €150 (subject to approval)

What Success Looks Like

You will be expected to present evidence of your work and final deliverables at the end of each project.

Travel expenses may be reimbursed when directly related to approved internship projects, university visits, or partnership meetings. Supporting documentation, including NS travel records or route information, may be requested.

• 3 days on-site

• 1 day remote (home working)

• Availability required Monday to Sunday

• Working hours generally between:

  • 11:00 - 19:00

  • 12:00 to 20:00

  • 14:00 - 22:00

  • 13:00 to 21:00
