Start as an Electrical Safety Engineer - Test Systems in Eindhoven! In this role, you will design and improve the electrical safety of Prodrive Technologies' production and test systems. You will develop circuits that safely disable hazardous voltages when a Device Under Test is connected, disconnected or accessed, and turn safety standards and risk assessments into practical designs.
You will work closely with software and mechanical engineers in a high-tech manufacturing environment. Your work will cover grounding, protective earth and electrical protection, as well as reviewing existing systems for safety, reliability and maintainability. This role calls for a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field, plus at least two years of relevant experience.
Your responsibilities:
- Designing electrical schematics and safety functions for production and test systems.
- Developing solutions to safely disable hazardous voltages.
- Defining grounding, protective earth and earth bonding concepts.
- Performing and supporting electrical risk assessments.
- Applying electrical safety standards and directives in practical designs.
- Reviewing and improving existing test systems.
- Supporting verification, validation and technical documentation.
- Collaborating with engineering teams and production stakeholders.
