The internship
We'd love to take you through a day in the life of a Front Office intern. Your shift begins with a handover from your colleagues, where you brainstorm creative ways to surprise this week's arriving guests. For instance, a colleague just delivered a birthday cake to a guest, and the Italian newspaper has arrived for our long-term resident; you promptly take it to their room: Grazie!
While you continue preparing for your shift in our reservation system, Mews, the first guests begin checking in. With your extensive knowledge of Amsterdam, you provide guests with precise recommendations on what to do and where to find that delightful bakery. You truly take care of our guests from A to Z. Given that our guests stay with us for extended periods, you also develop a special bond with them. You'll be working your magic in 2 shifts from 06:45 to 23:15 hrs, to make sure our guest feel welcome and at home.
