As Director of People & Culture you will be responsible for the following duties:
Lead and execute the hotel's People & Culture strategy, aligning it with business goals and Mandarin Oriental standards.
Oversee all HR functions including talent acquisition, compensation & benefits, learning & development, and colleague relations.
Foster a positive work culture through engagement initiatives, grievance management, and employee well-being programs.
Partner with department heads on workforce planning, organizational development, and performance management.
Ensure legal compliance, including labour law adherence, employment contracts, and safety & health policies.
Drive training and career development programs, including onboarding, leadership development, and internal promotions.
Monitor HR systems, metrics, and processes for efficiency, innovation, and continuous improvement.
As Director of People & Culture we expect from you:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related field.
Proven experience in senior HR leadership, ideally within luxury hospitality or international environments.
Fluent in English and Dutch with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership, influencing, and organizational abilities with a strategic mindset.
In-depth knowledge of Dutch labour laws, HR practices, and compliance standards.
High level of integrity, discretion, and emotional intelligence.
