We are looking for a warehouse supervisor for a modern and stable international company. The company is active in the distribution of dental applications to customers all over the world.

About the job

As Warehouse Supervisor, you will manage and coordinate the daily activities of a team of warehouse employees within the distribution center. You will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing goods, storing products safely and efficiently, and making optimal use of warehouse space.

You will monitor and improve work processes, coordinate tasks and schedules, and ensure that schedules and objectives are met. In addition, you will coach, train, and motivate employees, supervise the use of machines and equipment, and facilitate meetings and smaller improvement projects.

You will perform administrative tasks using various WMS systems, including SAP, and report on workflow and performance. You will monitor compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as safety and quality standards, and contribute to a safe and productive working environment.

What we require

• At least three years of demonstrable experience in a managerial role within logistics;
• Excellent command of the English language, Dutch is an advantage;
• People management skills;
• Knowledge of working with warehouse systems, preferably SAP R/3;
• The ability to manage and motivate a team (at least 10 people);
• Flexibility and the skills to make ad hoc decisions;
• You have good social skills and strong communication skills;
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
