As a Crate Washer Operator, you play a central role in cleaning and inspecting reusable crates for fruit and vegetables. You work independently in a modern production environment and are responsible for keeping the washing process running smoothly. Not only do you ensure the quality and cleanliness of the crates, but you also make a real impact on food safety and sustainability.
On a typical workday, you begin with a handover from your colleagues and check the machines you'll be working with. You operate the modern crate washing machines, carry out minor maintenance, resolve simple malfunctions, and thoroughly inspect the crates for quality. In addition, you keep production records and communicate with your team leader. You work in a 3-shift system, so your days are varied and require flexibility and an active attitude.

What we require
- You have a good command of Dutch, English, or German (for working with systems)
- You are willing to work in a 3-shift system (06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00, and 22:00-06:00)
- You have an affinity with logistics processes and technology
- You can switch gears quickly and keep an overview in the work process
- A forklift certificate is a plus
- You have at least a VMBO (pre-vocational secondary education) working and thinking level
- You have at least 1 year of work experience as an operator or in a similar technical role
