As a Commercial Account Manager, you will be responsible for the sales activities within your region. After an internal product training, you will become an expert in TKM Diacarb's industrial cutting tools and sharpening services.
You will visit customers and prospects across different industries and advise them on the use, re-sharpening, and replacement of industrial cutting tools. Your goal is to understand each customer's needs and offer the right solution while showing the added value of TKM Diacarb's products and services.
Your day includes:
- Visiting existing customers and new prospects in your region
- Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships
- Developing new business and identifying commercial opportunities
- Advising customers on industrial cutting tools and sharpening services
- Introducing TKM Diacarb and its solutions to potential new customers
- Identifying customer needs and providing customized solutions
- Advising customers on the use, re-sharpening, and replacement of cutting tools
- Preparing and following up on commercial opportunities and quotations
- Working closely with your inside sales colleague, who supports you with administrative tasks and quotations
- Managing approximately 50% new business and 50% existing customer relationships
- Keeping track of your activities and updating your administration from home or the office
- Working independently while being supported by an experienced sales team and Sales Manager
You will spend approximately four days a week visiting customers and prospects and one day working from home or the office to handle administration and follow-up.
You will receive a thorough internal product training to prepare you for the role. You will also have a dedicated inside sales colleague who works closely with you, allowing you to focus on what you do best: building relationships and developing business.
The position is available for the following regions:
- Southern Netherlands – preferably living in the area of Eindhoven
- Germany – Northern North Rhine-Westphalia – preferably living in Enschede and surrounding area
- Germany – Central/Southern North Rhine-Westphalia – preferably living around Helmond, Roermond, or Venlo
- Western Belgium – preferably living in Ghent and surrounding area

- Experience in a commercial role
- Technical interest and/or technical aptitude
- Communication skills in English and Dutch, German is a plus
- Strong customer-service orientation and sense of responsibility
- At least MBO working and thinking level
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of your region
- Willingness to learn and make use of the experience and knowledge of the sales team and Sales Manager
- Goal-oriented and focused on achieving results
- Creative and proactive approach to developing new markets and customers
