About the job
As Senior Systems Engineer responsible for analyzing, specifying and validating technical requirements and solutions at system, component and software/hardware level. Within a dedicated project team, technical solutions are designed, tested and optimized in line with customer and airworthiness requirements.
Tasks:
- Analyze and translate technical requirements into system and component definitions
- Develop architectures, perform technical trade-offs and define solutions
- Create specifications and validation criteria for systems and components
- Develop validation plans and demonstrate compliance through analysis, simulation and/or testing
- Develop verification methods and test protocols, including interpretation of test data
- Prepare and present reports and technical documentation
- Guide transition from development hardware to series production, including robustness testing and certification
- Collaborate with engineers, domain experts and international partners
Who are you?
A technically savvy engineer with experience in system development within a complex, multidisciplinary environment. Familiar with tools such as DOORS or SysML, and motivated to help build the future of unmanned aviation.
Your profile:
- Completed college or university degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or systems engineering
- Experience with system specifications, architecture development and requirements management
- Experience with MBSE tools such as SysML, IBM Rhapsody or similar is a plus
- Knowledge of defense-related technologies (such as sensors, navigation, data links) is desired
- Experience with security investigations (FTA/FMEA) is a plus
- Analytically strong, communicative and collaborative oriented
- Experience with aviation or defense standards is an advantage
