We currently have a new chance for a forklift driver who is available for work in 3-shifts. You are responsible for the smooth flow of goods within a modern logistics terminal in Houten, close to Utrecht. In this role, you ensure that shipments are processed on time and maintain control over the workflow during your shift.
Your activities consist of:
- Loading and unloading trucks so shipments are processed on time;
- Moving goods within the warehouse using a forklift and other equipment;
- Scanning and checking shipments for accuracy and quality;
- Organizing and securing goods for safe transport.
- An hourly wage starting from €15.61
- 30% shift allowance for work between 18:00 - 06:00 on weekdays, your hourly pay at those times is €20,29;
- 50% allowance for working on saturday, then your hourly pay is €23,42;
- A temporary contract with the prospect of a direct contract at DHL Freight;
- A full-time role of 40 hours per week;
- Quick feedback on your application within 24 hours.
- You have a valid forklift license or are wanting to get one;
- Experience in logistics is preferred but not mandatory;
- Physically fit for lifting and warehouse tasks;
- Resides near Houten, Nieuwegein, or Utrecht;
- Willing to work in a rotating 3-shift system.
