- Manage a portfolio of premium music instrument products (three brands) within a specialized industry, overseeing assortment planning, purchasing, pricing, and new product introductions.
- Analyze market developments, customer demand, and cost trends to optimize pricing strategies and product availability.
- Prepare product information, sales materials, and training content to support the commercial team and business partners.
- Act as the key liaison between the European organization and international manufacturing partners, sharing market insights and supporting product development initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers and business partners through regular visits and ongoing communication.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop commercial campaigns that drive product performance.
- Provide product expertise to the sales team, supporting technical and commercial inquiries from customers.
- Work closely with logistics and customer service to ensure efficient order processing and a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of product portfolio management processes and commercial performance.
- You communicate professionally in English, both written and spoken. Additional European languages are an advantage (for e.g. German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian etc.)
- You have at least 3 years of experience in Product Management, Purchasing, Category Management and / or Brand Management within an international trading or distribution environment.
- You have a genuine passion for products within a specialist enthusiast market. Experience with musical instruments, audio equipment, consumer electronics, or similar technical products is considered as a strong advantage. Especially in the musical instruments industry.
- You enjoy combining commercial thinking with analytical decision-making and are comfortable managing product portfolios.
- You have experience working with international suppliers or manufacturing partners and understand the dynamics of a distribution business.
- You are confident using ERP systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, to analyze data, manage pricing, and support purchasing decisions.
- You work in a structured, accurate, and proactive manner and are able to manage multiple priorities independently.
- You are willing to travel occasionally within Europe to visit customers, attend industry events, and meet business partners. (Average every 3 months - 1 to max. 2 weeks each business trip)
- You are based in the Netherlands close to Vinkeveen/ Breukelen region
- You have a valid working and residence permit for the Netherlands - our client does not offer sponsorship
- You have a drivers' license - The location is easily accessible by car, although public transport connections are more limited.
- The start date is ASAP - Full-time position (40 hours per week).
- Please note: this is 100% onsite (NO hybrid)
- Salary: Starting from € 3,500 gross per month, depending on experience and education.
- Initial 7-month contract with the intention of long-term employment.
