Your responsibilities
In this role, you'll be responsible for operating, monitoring and maintaining industrial machinery and systems. This means you'll ensure the equipment keeps running, quickly resolve any faults and carry out preventative maintenance. You'll work closely with the lead technician and other colleagues, and your tasks will include:
- Replacing sensors and simple machine parts
- Carrying out preventative maintenance
- Assisting with work on pneumatic, mechanical and electrical systems
- Recording maintenance and fault-repair work
- Working in accordance with safety and quality guidelines
