We're looking for a Host or Hostess for Jansz. Restaurant to join our welcoming F&B team. You greet each guest with warmth and professionalism, ensuring they feel at ease from the moment they arrive. With a friendly attitude, strong organizational skills and a passion for hospitality, you help create smooth seating experiences and set the tone for memorable dining moments.
Your Role in Our Story:
- Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly smile and positive attitude.
- Guide guests to their seats and ensure they are comfortable with their seating arrangement.
- Manage reservations and coordinate seating charts for both reservations and walk-ins.
- Monitor and manage wait lists during busy times, providing accurate wait times to guests.
- Work closely with servers and management to ensure smooth seating transitions and table readiness.
- Address guest inquiries regarding the menu, services, and special promotions.
- Assist in guest complaints or concerns, escalating to management when necessary.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience as a Host/Hostess or in customer service is a plus, but a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are key.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable personality.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Fluency in English is required, and Dutch language skills are a welcome addition.
