- Design, implementation, operation, and maintenance of modern IT and OT infrastructures, including networks, servers, and virtualized environments
- Engineering and cybersecurity support for complex building automation and critical infrastructure projects, such as:
- Large commercial and industrial buildings
- Utility and infrastructure facilities
- Safety- and security-critical environments (HVAC, fire safety, access control, surveillance systems)
- Configuration, operation, and maintenance of network components and firewalls (routers, switches, access points, firewalls, VPNs)
- Integration and securing of OT systems (building automation, HVAC, security systems) within IT network architectures
- Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows client and server environments
- Administration of Active Directory, including user, group, and Group Policy management
- Design and management of network architectures, including VLANs, Layer 3 routing, QoS, and redundancy concepts
- Participation in cybersecurity projects, including technical risk analyses, vulnerability assessments, and system hardening
- Development, documentation, and quality assurance of IT/OT systems
- Collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders, including vendors and system integrators
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Ethernet, IEEE 802.11)
- Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network security solutions
- Solid understanding of Windows-based environments and Microsoft Active Directory
- Experience with virtualization platforms (Hyper-V, VMware, cloud-based environments) and storage systems
- Knowledge of IT and OT security principles, including system hardening and secure architecture design
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g. ISO, NIST, IEC 62443)
- Ability to define and apply security policies and perform risk assessments
- Analytical, solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, proactive working style
- Professional proficiency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
