Your day starts with a cup of coffee and a team meeting. Then you get to work coordinating transport and acting as the point of contact for drivers. You make sure everything runs smoothly and solve any problems that arise. As yard supervisor,, you will be working in several different areas of responsibility:
- Receive inbound container/trailer paperwork, assign driver to a dock, stamp/sign paperwork and inform WAC inbound container is there.
- Responsible for giving green light to pick-up (un-)loaded containers/trailers. Be in touch with WH operations teams to be able to give drivers approval to drive their truck from a dock.
- Add or remove Kingpin slots to disconnected (un-)loading containers/trailers.
- Keep a clean and safe work environment outside the warehouse. Tasks related to waste, cleaning garbage bins and docks to be done in quiet moments. Support warehouse operation in waste and scrap management – dispose garbage, unloading pallet supply, loading scrap pallets.
- Helping to keep yard clean and safe.
- Forklift license/experience is a pre. If not, willing to be certificated with such.
- Work according to applicable work instructions and SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Support Warehouse operation if needed
- Contribute to improvement plans.

The third is on Loven III which is closer to Oisterwijk near the N261. Parking is free. And the great thing is: Olympia has its own office on site. So we can always help you quickly if needed.
