De functieWhat needs to be done?
- Handle technical questions that come in on Howden's installed reciprocating-, centrifugal- and diaphragm compressors.
- Where necessary seek advice with other subject-matter experts within Howden.
- Perform root cause analyses of damages and machine failures.
- Identify commercial opportunities for supplying upgrades on installed compressor installations.
- Visit customers for site surveys.
- Monitoring the condition of compressors operating at customer's site using Howden's remote monitoring system Uptime.
- Contribute in standardization and improvements of their processes and products.
Howden Reciprocating and Centrifugal compressors (HCR) is a specialist supplier of tailor-made gas compression equipment to various industries. Their products have made a valuable difference forclients for the past 100 years, and we are now looking for a Technical Support Engineer who will join the team and assist Howden in making a valuable difference in the century to come. The main role purpose is to help customers, the internal Howden Field Service Engineers and colleagues from Howden offices around the world with all their technical questions and issues on their Howden reciprocating-, centrifugal- and diaphragm compressors. This is a unique opportunity to work with a highly motivated team which is based in Rheden, the Netherlands, to capture the growth opportunities in the renewable hydrogen market!

Jouw profielWhat do you need to bring?
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Expert knowledge of compression systems.
- Experience as a Field Service Engineer is preferred.
- Experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Team player, responsible, loyal and a self-starter.
- Knowledge of safety, health and environmental regulations.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (10-20%).
- Excellent English language skills (verbal and written), Dutch or other languages are welcome.
Het salaris bedraagt €3500 - €4800
