What you'll be doing
As quality coordinator you are in the lead when it comes to improving quality business processes. You act as the link between the different factories and teams, so that the company can deliver quality products. Furthermore, you ensure risk reduction, business continuity, and effective management of quality-related waste, financial provisions, compliance initiatives, innovation projects, and factory quality performance.
Your key responsibilities can be summed up using the following four points:
- Quality Business Waste & Financial Governance - You will be:
- Leading the monthly Quality Business Waste cycle
- Driving root-cause analysis and recovery plans with factories
- Assessing release, rework, and disposal decisions for quality-blocked stock
- Managing monthly provision reviews and approvals
- Providing weekly and monthly reporting to Supply Chain and leadership teams.
- Quality Compliance & Capability Programs - You will be:
- Leading implementation of key Quality Programs
- Driving metal detector and vision system compliance
- Leading Cleaning & Disinfection (C&D) validation compliance
- Supporting factory compliance and food safety improvement initiatives aligned with ice cream manufacturing quality requirements
- Innovation & Renovation Support - You will be:
- Representing Quality in innovation projects
- Conducting risk assessments, support trials, and ensure manufacturing readiness
- Driving waste reduction and quality-by-design principles during product launches
- Supporting innovation projects and global/regional quality initiatives
- Reporting & Performance Management - You will be:
- Preparing monthly quality newsletters and management updates
- Monitoring quality KPIs and provide insights to leadership
- Identifying trends and improvement opportunities across factories and distribution centers
- Scoping Multiple Ice Cream factories and Distribution Centers
