Super Micro is looking for an IT Support Engineer to strengthen the team located in the Netherlands. The IT Engineer will be reporting to the local IT manager and will cover all tasks concerning user support and administration. The position is located in our European office in The Netherlands and will be a full-time position concentrating on but not limited to regular office hours.
The job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
•Provide technical support for end-users and workstations (local and remote).
•Respond to requests for technical assistance via phone or electronically.
•Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
•Identify, prioritize and escalate issues requiring urgent attention.
•Support and administration for Windows server environments.
•Configure hardware including, but not limited to, workstations, servers, switches, routers, and firewalls.
•Install and configure authorized software.
•Makes sure everything is well documented and reviewed.
•Other duties may be assigned.

Wat vragen wij?
•Bachelor's degree in Computer science or IT related field or equivalent working experience.
•Microsoft MCSE, MCITP Systems Administrator (Active Directory) is preferred
•Strong troubleshooting skills
•Ability to manage and prioritize tasks and responsibilities
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Comfortable communicating in person, via phone and in writing in a patient, professional and respectful manner.
•Able to work in an international environment and considering cultural differences and sensitivities.
•Not a 9 to 5 person
