As a Shift Operator, you play an important role in the production process. You will work with modern production machinery in a clean, safe and technically advanced working environment. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that the production process runs smoothly and that the quality of the end product is consistently maintained. No two working days are exactly the same. You operate and set up production machines, monitor the production process, perform quality checks and take action when deviations occur. You will also use your technical skills to identify potential issues, solve minor technical problems and keep the machinery running efficiently.Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating, setting up and adjusting production machinery;
- Monitoring production processes and performing quality checks and measurements;
- Identifying deviations and resolving minor technical issues where possible;
- Performing basic technical maintenance on machinery;
- Using your technical understanding to troubleshoot and prevent production issues;
- Contributing ideas for improving production processes and machine performance;
- Ensuring a safe, clean and well-organized working environment;
- Working closely with fellow operators and team leaders to achieve production targets.
You will work according to a fixed and well-organized 8-week shift schedule:
- Early shift: 06:00 - 14:00
- Late shift: 14:00 - 22:00
- Night shift: 22:00 - 06:00
- The schedule includes several weekend shifts.
- A starting salary between €3,900 and €4,400 gross per month, based on 40 hours per week and including shift allowance and year-end bonus;

- A position with the prospect of a permanent contract;
- 25 vacation days per year and 8% holiday allowance;
- Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometre;

- Experience as an operator and working with machinery;
- A technical education or technical background;
- Experience in the agricultural sector is a plus;
- A practical and hands-on approach;
- Willingness to work in shifts;
- A strong focus on quality, safety and attention to detail;
- The ability to work independently as well as effectively with colleagues;
- A good command of the English language;
- Dutch language skills at least at A2 level (basic);
- You have your own accommodation and car and live in the area of Boxmeer.
The location is easily accessible from Nijmegen, Uden, Venray and the German border region, including Kleve and Goch.
