The Rotterdam based Jetty Scheduler who is part of a team of 6 jetty schedulers, is responsible for an optimal use of the jetty capacity at Pernis, Moerdijk & Europoort.
With the environmental and logistical contstraints, like delivering volume at the lowest costs, while meeting customers' expectations.
More so the Jetty Scheduler is advising on and supporting the co-ordination for nautical cargo handling activities on behalf of Shell in the Rotterdam area.
To ensure all ships calling on Pernis/Moerdijk/Europoort comply with the Ship Quality Assurance and associated processes.

The oil supply and trading environment is often dynamic and fast moving. Operators often must be able to respond quickly and accurately to challenging and sometimes conflicting deadlines in order to comply with business needs and policy guidelines. Daily working hours may be variable and unpredictable at times. You will be obliged to participate in the duty cover scheme.
To contribute to a fully optimized and costs efficient jetty program where a robust plant operation and supply chain process are secured, while meeting the Group HSE standards, 3rd party customer requirements and business objectives.

Required experience qualifications
The appointee will have significant experience in a logistical and nautical environment with focus on oil movements operations.
Attention to detail and good personal organization skills with the ability to prioritize to meet critical deadlines. Leadership, accountability, and team working skills are essential.
