As an Account Manager in Arnhem, you operate within an international B2B media and advertising environment. In this role, you take full ownership of building and expanding your own client portfolio across sectors such as food, ingredients, packaging, and personal care. You can expect a gross monthly salary between €3,000 and €4,200, depending on your experience.
Your primary focus is on new business development. You actively approach companies across European markets, identify commercial opportunities, and engage with key decision-makers. You are responsible for opening new accounts, building relationships from scratch, and creating your own pipeline.
As opportunities develop, your role shifts towards consultative selling. You translate client needs into tailored advertising and media solutions, guiding them towards long-term partnerships. You manage the full sales cycle, from initial outreach to closing deals and expanding existing accounts.
You work with international clients and media platforms on a daily basis, making English your main business language. German is an advantage. Occasional travel, such as attending international trade shows or visiting clients, is part of the role.
What does your work week look like?
You work 32 to 40 hours per week in an independent and internationally focused role. A large part of your week consists of proactive outreach, including cold calling, following up on leads, and conducting online meetings with prospects. You explore client needs, present advertising opportunities, and develop proposals.
Alongside your new business activities, you manage and grow your existing client portfolio. As your portfolio expands, account management becomes a natural extension of your role. You keep your pipeline up to date in the CRM system and maintain full visibility over your deals and opportunities.
