Your working day starts at 07:30. You check the technical drawing, prepare the components you need and start assembling. Step by step, the different parts come together until a complete machine or module is ready.

As an Assembly Mechanic Machine Building, you are involved in the complete assembly process. You work accurately according to technical drawings and work instructions and make sure every component is installed correctly.

During the assembly process, you also test and check your work. Do you notice something that could be improved or does a component not fit as expected? You report it and work together with your colleagues to find the right solution.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assembling machines and modules according to technical drawings;
• Installing and adjusting mechanical and mechatronic components;
• Testing and checking machines during the assembly process;
• Identifying technical issues and possible improvements;
• Working accurately according to work instructions and quality standards.

At the end of the process, you can see exactly what you and your colleagues have built. A complete machine that will eventually be used by a customer somewhere in the world.

You currently work during the day shift from 07:30 to 16:30. In the future, the company may introduce a two shift schedule. It is therefore important that you are open to working in shifts if required.

You can also expect:

• A gross monthly salary between €3,200 and €3,600, depending on your experience;
• A full time position of 40 hours per week;
• Daytime working hours from 07:30 to 16:30;
• A temporary contract with the possibility of a permanent position;
• Travel allowance, a good pension scheme from your first working day and 27 vacation days;
• ADV allowance;
• Plenty of opportunities to develop your technical skills.

You also have:

• A technical secondary education level or equivalent practical experience;
• Experience or affinity with assembly, mechanical engineering or machine building;
• The ability to read technical drawings or the motivation to learn this;
• Preferably German language skills, although English is also possible;
• The willingness to work in a two shift schedule in the future if required.
• You do not need to know every machine from day one. Technical interest, practical skills and the motivation to learn are just as important.
