Are you an experienced reach truck driver and don't mind the cold too much?
We’re looking for motivated drivers to join a large cold storage facility. You’ll be working in a freezing environment, but thanks to warm thermal clothing and a heated reach truck, you’ll stay comfortable—even at temperatures as low as -22 °C.
Your responsibilities include:
- Operating a heated reach truck to transport and store goods.
- Picking and placing orders accurately.
- Identifying and reporting inventory discrepancies.
- Adhering to all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Collaborating effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
Your Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Day, evening or night shifts, depending on availability
You’ll be working for a wholesale food supplier in Maastricht, known for delivering top-quality fresh and frozen products to restaurants, hotels, and hospitality businesses across the region. They value precision, teamwork, and outstanding customer service.
Wie ben je?- Proven experience as a reach truck driver
- A valid reach truck certificate
- Good communication skills in English
- Reliable, accurate, and able to work independently
- Starting salary of €15.14 per hour and an extra cold allowance of €0.79/hour
- Night shift bonus: +20% between 00:00 and 06:00 → earn up to €21.23/hour
- Appropriate clothing to work safely in cold conditions.
- 25 vacation days, 8.33% holiday pay, pension from day one, and travel allowance (19 cents per km, from 10 km)
