As a green maintenance worker, you will work at various locations maintaining parks and other green outdoor areas. Your tasks are varied and include mowing, pruning, hoeing, planting, weed removal, tree care, and working with machines and vehicles.

You will work from 07:00 to 15:00 or 08:00 to 16:00, starting and ending each day at the base in Waarland. All travel time to and from the workplace is fully paid. The work begins when the season opens in late March/early April and runs until mid-December. You may be able to start earlier if there's enough work and they're willing to put you to work sooner.

There are plenty of opportunities for personal and professional development, such as becoming a green maintenance specialist, machine operator, tree care specialist, or team leader. Whether you are looking for a temporary job or a long-term career, motivation, the ability to start early, and enjoying outdoor work are most important. A driver's license is a plus.
