English Speaking Forklift Driver

Wat je gaat doen Are you looking for a fulltime job as a forklift driver with the prospect of a permanent contract? Then this could be the perfect opportunity for you!As a forklift driver, you will work together with an enthusiastic team of around 15 colleagues and play a key role in the logistics process. You are mainly responsible for safely and efficiently moving goods within the warehouse and supporting various logistics activities. Thanks to your efforts, the entire process runs smoothly – from receiving goods to final delivery.Your main tasks will include:

• Transporting goods within the warehouse using a forklift (mainly), EPT and possibly a reach truck;
• Loading and unloading trucks with the forklift;
• Receiving and (administratively) processing incoming goods;
• Picking, packing and preparing orders for shipment;
• Order picking based on packing slips;
• Performing (periodic) stock counts;
• Identifying and reporting deviations, damages, shortages or unsafe situations and actively contributing ideas for improvements;
• Working closely with other departments to optimize logistics processes.

Functie-eisen We are looking for a motivated forklift driver who works safely and accurately:

• Logistic experience;
• Fulltime availability in day shift (07:30 – 16:15);
• Proven experience driving a forklift and EPT;
• In possession of a valid forklift certificate (or willing to obtain one);
• Reach truck experience is a plus;
• Reliable, motivated and eager to learn;
• Independent, accurate and hands-on;
• You have your own accommodation and transport;
• Basic computer skills for administrative tasks;
• Good command of the English language and Dutch is a plus.

Over het bedrijf You will be working for a highecg company in Nijmegen that supplies products to international markets. You will join a professional warehouse team of around 15 colleagues, where teamwork and quality are key. The location in Nijmegen is easily accessible from Arnhem, Tiel, Oss and also from German cities such as Kleve and Goch.
