Our client is a pioneering specialist in the design, construction, and maintenance of high‑voltage infrastructure, playing a vital role in accelerating the energy transition in the Netherlands. As one of the few companies in the country with full in-house expertise across all disciplines of energy infrastructure, ranging from engineering and underground cable systems to complex substation integration, they deliver future‑ready solutions for both public grid operators and large private energy stakeholders.

In this role, you’ll manage multidisciplinary project teams, including construction managers, work planners, site supervisors, environmental specialists, and other experts. Your mission: deliver high‑voltage infrastructure projects on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

You will be the key link between execution, technical departments, tenders, and senior management. Acting as the main point of contact for major stakeholders such as national grid operators and private clients, you’ll foster strong, long‑term relationships and ensure alignment between project goals and stakeholder expectations.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (HBO/WO) in a technical discipline
• 18+ years of experience as a project manager or project lead in the energy sector for high voltage infrastructure
• Strong affinity and proven experience with underground infrastructure
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Comfortable managing multidisciplinary teams and complex stakeholder environments
• Fluent in English and Dutch language min. B1
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and team development
