Independent Wok chef

As a zelfstandig werkend kok at Wok Restaurant Royal Palace, you will play an integral role in delivering high-quality dishes across our all-you-can-eat concept, wok station, à-la-carte menu, and takeaway kitchen. Working in a dynamic and multicultural environment, you’ll ensure that every dish meets our standards for taste, presentation, and quality. With your expertise in cooking techniques and HACCP guidelines, you’ll contribute to creating a memorable dining experience for our guests.

What You Will Do:

• Prepare and cook: dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure: the taste, quality, presentation, and doneness of all dishes served.
• Follow: HACCP guidelines and maintain hygiene standards in the kitchen.
• Manage: inventory levels and check incoming deliveries for quality and accuracy.
• Guide: and support kitchen assistants during busy shifts when needed.

• Direct permanent contract upon joining.
• Full-time position with a 40-hour workweek.

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated cook who thrives in a dynamic kitchen environment and values teamwork and quality.

• MBO-3 diploma, preferably in Cooking or Hospitality.
• You live in Holland (relocation applications will be rejected).
• Proficient in basic cooking techniques and HACCP guidelines.
• Experience in busy kitchens; calm under pressure during peak times.
• Available for evening and weekend shifts.
• Fluent in Dutch and/or English; Chinese is a plus.
