Step by step, you’ll master the fire assay technique – a precise method for analysing metals. It may sound complex, but you’ll receive full guidance from experienced colleagues. You’ll work in a modern laboratory on a fixed two-shift schedule (06:00–14:30 and 14:30–23:00), so no night shifts.
Your tasks:
- Weighing and preparing samples
- Melting and separating metals for analysis
- Operating ovens and lab equipment safely
- Checking and recording results
- Keeping the workspace clean and safe
- Hourly wage of €16.28 (incl. 13 % shift allowance, ≈ €2,831 p/m full-time)
- Temporary contract with prospect of a permanent position
- Travel allowance of €0.21 per km
- Full on-the-job training in metal analysis
