As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and growing the dealer network across the Netherlands and selected regions in Germany. This is a stand-alone commercial role with a high degree of autonomy, where you will act as the face of the business in your market.
Your responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute the sales strategy for the Netherlands and preferably Germany as well
- Identify, approach, and onboard new bicycle dealers (e.g. Retail shops and distributors) with a focus on 3-wheel e-cargo bikes. (While new 2-wheel cargo bikes will be coming, you will still need to sell 3-wheel e-cargo bikes in the meantime).
- Build long-term relationships with dealers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and sustainable sales growth.
- Arrange your own deliveries with the logistics partners
- Visit dealers regularly to provide product demonstrations, commercial support, and sales training.
- Continuously monitor market developments, competitor activities, pricing, and industry trends, translating these insights into commercial opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs, and customer meetings.
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and COO to discuss sales performance, market opportunities, and strategic initiatives through weekly online meetings.
- Manage your sales pipeline independently, from prospecting through to closing business and maintaining customer relationships.
- Act as the voice of the market by providing feedback on customer needs, product improvements, and emerging opportunities.
- You have a proven track record in B2B sales with extensive knowledge of e-cargo bikes, in particular 3-wheel e-cargo bikes.
- You possess an established network of bicycle dealers and industry contacts in the Netherlands. Experience within the German market is a strong advantage.
- You are entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and thrive in an independent, home-based role.
- You are a true hunter who enjoys identifying new business opportunities while building lasting customer relationships.
- You combine commercial instinct with analytical thinking and know how to turn market opportunities into results.
- You understand the cargo bike market and have experience selling technical products through dealer networks.
- You are comfortable demonstrating and riding both two-wheel and three-wheel cargo bikes.
- You are solution-oriented and able to advise dealers on the best commercial and product solutions.
- You communicate confidently in Dutch, German and English.
- You are willing to travel extensively throughout the Netherlands and regularly visit customers in Germany.
- You hold a valid driver's licence and enjoy being on the road.
