System Support Officer Logistics

• If performance is strong and the match is right, you will receive a direct contract with Samsung SDS
• The Samsung site in Born is located directly next to the A2 highway and is easily accessible from Sittard, Echt, Roermond, Heerlen, Maastricht, Maaseik, and Aachen

For Samsung SDS in Born, we are looking for a System Support Officer WMS & TMS. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for operational teams when system-related issues occur. You don’t need to know everything already, we are mainly looking for the right mindset, eagerness to learn and sense of responsibility.

As a System Support Officer, you support operational teams with questions and issues related to Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transport Management Systems (TMS). You analyse incidents, determine root causes and ensure high data quality in the systems.

Your responsibilities include:

First Line System Support

• Acting as the first point of contact for operational system issues;
• Diagnosing, prioritising and resolving WMS and TMS incidents;
• Escalating issues to second line support when required and following them up;
• Communicating with operations, IT, engineering and customers.

Data Management

• Maintaining and managing master data within the Cello systems;
• Aligning stock levels between the WMS and the customer’s ERP system;
• Maintaining and improving procedures related to master data;
• Performing root cause analyses and proposing improvements.

Continuous Improvement

• Testing solutions in test environments;
• Contributing to structural system and process improvements (procesmanagement);
• Initiating improvements in storage methods and put‑away strategies;
• Supporting customer implementations, system changes and go‑live phases;
• Assisting in projects, improvement plans and system training for colleagues.

• 1–3 years of experience in warehousing, logistics operations or a coordination role;
• Strong interest in systems and willingness to learn
• Analytical, accurate and communicative;
• A hands‑on mindset and a team‑oriented attitude;
• Professional working level of English;
• Good knowledge of  Excel.

In the future, working in shift rotation may become part of the role.
