We are looking for a motivated truck driver to deliver freshly baked bread to supermarkets across the Netherlands between 00:00/01:00 AM and 10:00 AM. You’ll drive with a trailer on fixed routes. A 34% night shift allowance applies to hours worked between midnight and 6:00 AM.
As a truck driver, you are responsible for the timely and careful delivery of fresh bread to supermarkets and stores within a 150 km radius of Den Bosch. You will work between 00:00/01:00 AM and 10:00 AM, mostly on fixed routes to supermarkets in the Netherlands. Each route includes 6 to 10 delivery stops. The load consists of dollies with bread crates – a physically light task, as little lifting is required.
our workday starts with loading the trailer, which takes about 45 minutes. After that, you begin your route. You know the way, so no stress.
At the store, you unload the goods yourself — you have the key and alarm code, and you know exactly where to be. After unloading, you load the empty packaging from the previous day and head to the next stop.
At the end of the route, you unload the empty packaging, and your workday is done.
Your day starts early, often before the streets come alive. You’ll use a key or code to access stores, load your truck, check the shipment, report discrepancies, and unload at the delivery points. You’ll also take return goods back with you.
You will be working for a nationally recognized company with 11 locations across the Netherlands. Specializing in bread and baked goods production, the company delivers fresh bread daily to over 1,000 supermarkets throughout the country. Transport is entirely managed in-house. The national fleet consists of 80 trucks and 15 vans, including 10 fully electric vehicles. The company is strongly committed to sustainability and investing in people.
WHAT DO YOU BRING
- CE driver's license, code 95, and driver’s card;
- Good command of the English language.
WHAT DO YOU GET IN RETURN
- An hourly wage ranging from €16.49 to €19.63 gross per hour;
- An ADV percentage of 1.38% on top of your gross salary;
- A net reimbursement of €3.50 per day for expenses;
- A travel allowance from 10 km to 30 km at €0.23 per km;
- A 34% shift allowance for hours worked between 12:00 AM and 6:00 AM;
- A 34% shift allowance for all Saturday hours;
- A 100% shift allowance for Sunday hours;
