For a laboratory in Bergschenhoek, we are looking for a precise and motivated Laboratory Technician. In this role, you will work in a routine laboratory where you are responsible for preparing and processing seed samples for Seed Health testing. You will work under the supervision of a Senior Technician and Unit Lead and contribute to quality, safety, and efficient processes.Over de functie
As a Laboratory Technician, you are an important link in the laboratory process. On a daily basis, you will be involved in collecting, counting, and preparing vegetable seed samples for further analysis. The work is repetitive in nature and requires a high level of accuracy and concentration.
In addition, you will work with systems such as LIMS and Microsoft Office and ensure that all activities comply with quality and phytosanitary regulations. You will support colleagues in various laboratory activities and actively contribute to a safe, positive, and compliant working environment.

Wat wij vragen
Minimum MBO level 3 diploma (or higher)
Ability to work accurately and carefully
Good command of the English language (spoken and written)
Team player with the ability to work independently
Basic knowledge of laboratory processes and quality standards is a plus
Experience with Microsoft Office required; LabVantage experience is a plus
Familiarity with SOP, ISO/ISTA, and HSE guidelines is a plus
Proactive attitude and attention to detail
