Join ASML as a Senior Safety Professional within the EUV Factory, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and compliant work environment. This position is vital for fostering a strong safety culture and driving continuous improvement in our Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) practices.
Role and Responsibilities
As a Senior Safety Professional, You will:
Act as a trusted EHS advisor to operations, engineering, and facility management teams.
Drive the Improvement Safety Roadmap in the Operational Departments. Conduct safety risk assessments and ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and ASML policies.
Develop and deliver safety training programs to enhance workplace safety awareness.
Support the development and refinement of safety policies and procedures.
Lead incident investigations and track safety performance indicators to provide insights for improvement.
Drive the maturity level for Safety to an Independent level
Education and experience
To succeed in this role, you will need:
HVK (Hogere Veiligheidskunde) or similar Education/certification.
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in safety management or a technical engineering field (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical).
At least 15 years of experience in health and safety within high-tech manufacturing or semiconductor production.
Strong knowledge of Dutch and EU safety regulations, including the Safety Act and Environmental Act.
Skills
To thrive in this position, you will need the following skills:
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across multiple teams.
Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies (HAZOP, FMEA) and incident investigation techniques (Kelvin Topset, Tripod Beta, RCA).
Strong analytical skills to identify safety risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
Fluency in English; knowledge of Dutch is preferred.
