For the fast-growing Budbee (Instabee) logistics warehouse in Vianen, we are looking for an enthusiastic Logistics Team Lead.
This is not a desk-only job! You will spend approximately half of your time on the warehouse floor, working closely with your team, and the other half in the office, focusing on improving processes and workflows. Our warehouse operates 24/7, with most parcels being processed during the night.
You will take the lead on the warehouse floor, think in solutions and take ownership of daily operations. You will support the Site Manager, guide your team, resolve issues as they arise and make sure all parcels leave the warehouse correctly and on time.
As Budbee is growing rapidly, you will receive a thorough onboarding process and plenty of on-the-job coaching. If you perform well, you will have the opportunity to grow into the role of Site Manager within 2 to 3 years.
Your daily responsibilities:
- You support and guide three Junior Team Managers and Coordinators with their daily tasks and any questions from employees.
- You monitor parcel flows, identify opportunities to improve or speed up warehouse processes, and implement improvements directly.
- You work closely with the Site Manager. When they are absent, you take over responsibility for managing the warehouse. You and the Site Manager alternate shifts.
Schedule and working hours:
- Regular schedule: Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 17:00 (40 hours per week).
- Evening shifts: Approximately once a week, you will work an evening shift from 12:00 to 21:00. This allows you to support the evening team or assist with new projects.
- Night shifts and on-call availability: Your team is responsible for the night shift. You will only be contacted at night in case of emergencies, such as major technical issues or unexpected, significant staff shortages.
- A competitive salary of 3,500 to 4,000 euro gross per month (based on a 40-hour work week);
- 8% holiday allowance, 26 vacation days, and an extra day off on your birthday;

- Travel allowance if you live more than 10 km from Vianen;

- You have at least MBO 4 or HBO working and thinking level;
- You have previous leadership experience, for example in logistics, production, retail or hospitality;
- You have your own means of transportation to commute to Vianen;
- You have good spoken and written English skills. Speaking additional languages is a plus;
- You are proactive and take ownership. You treat the warehouse as if it were your own business, maintain a clear overview and stay calm under pressure.
