Mechatronics Engineer in Eindhoven: design, integrate and validate high-tech systems from concept to production. What are you going to do:

Start as a Mechatronics Engineer in Eindhoven! In this role, you will design and develop complete high-tech systems for Prodrive Technologies, from initial concept through production release. You will take ownership of electrical architecture, power distribution, mechanical integration, machine safety and validation for equipment such as optical measurement machines, wafer stages and die-placement systems.

You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams and see your designs come to life on the production floor. Using tools such as Zuken E3 and Siemens NX, you will turn system-level schematics into practical layouts, cabling and integrated hardware. You will also assemble, test and troubleshoot the systems you design. A hands-on approach, structured problem-solving skills and the ability to connect mechanical, electrical and software disciplines are essential.

Your responsibilities:

• Designing power distribution systems, cabling and interconnections for complex machines.
• Creating system-level schematics for actuators, drives, sensors, power supplies, safety components and control hardware.
• Developing electrical documentation in Zuken E3.
• Defining system architecture, hardware placement and cable routing strategies.
• Translating schematics into 3D layouts and cable routing using Siemens NX.
• Designing PDUs, electrical cabinets, enclosures and supporting mechanical structures.
• Implementing and validating machine safety functions in line with applicable standards and CE requirements.
• Assembling, testing, troubleshooting and improving your designs through production release.

What we ask

• You have at least three years of experience creating system-level schematics and enjoy designing, integrating and validating complex high-tech systems.
• You hold a bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• You have experience designing electrical systems, including power distribution, cabling and interconnections.
• You understand how mechanical, electrical and software systems work together.
• You have experience with 3D CAD software, preferably Siemens NX, and with cable routing in complex systems.
• Knowledge of Zuken E3 or EPLAN is a strong advantage.
• Experience with machine safety or B&R Safety PLCs is a plus; you can learn B&R Safety PLCs on the job.
• You communicate fluently in English, both spoken and written.
• You are hands-on, solve problems in a structured way and are comfortable working on both design and validation activities.
