What you'll be doing
As a maintenance technician, you will, for example, be involved in the following activities:
- Diagnosing and resolving equipment malfunctions to ensure smooth production
- Calibrating and aligning equipment
- Performing preventive maintenance
- Checking component dimensions
- Installing parts and equipment
- Coordinating maintenance tasks and collaborating with the planner and work coordinator for efficient scheduling
- Testing, measuring, and repairing controls and instruments using pneumatic, electrical, and electronic variables
- Documenting failure analyses and collecting data for reliability improvements
