In this active entry-level role, you are responsible for maintaining, disassembling, assembling, and thoroughly cleaning life-saving safety equipment, such as breathing apparatuses and gas detection devices.
What will you be doing?
- Collect safety equipment from clients and carefully disassemble devices following clear step-by-step instructions
- Thoroughly clean, inspect, and reassemble all components with precision
- Calibrate and certify devices to ensure they are 100% safe and ready for use
- Accurately register all completed tasks in the system
- Enjoy variety in your work: depending on scheduling, you may occasionally drive as a chauffeur between different work sites to pick up or deliver equipment
You will work 32 to 40 hours per week in a fixed, structured 2-shift rotation (06:00 – 14:00 and 14:00 – 22:00). Due to the early and late shift hours, the industrial site in IJmuiden is best reached using your own transportation (car or motorcycle).

Wie ben je?- No diploma or specific experience required (full training provided on the job)
- Valid driver's license B (and preferably your own transport, such as a car or motorcycle)
- Good command of English or Dutch
- Physically fit (able to lift up to 18 kg when needed)
- Available to work in 2 shifts (06:00 – 14:00 and 14:00 – 22:00) for 32 to 40 hours per week
- Great Salary: Gross wage of €16.00 per hour (€2,773 per month based on 40 hours)
- Flexible Hours: Options to work between 32 and 40 hours per week
- Shift Allowance: An attractive shift allowance on top of your hourly rate for working in 2 shifts
- Weekend Allowances: 150% on Saturdays and 200% on Sundays (when working a weekend shift, approx. Once every 4 weeks)
- Fixed Schedule: Clear structure with fixed shifts (06:00 – 14:00 and 14:00 – 22:00)
- On-the-Job Learning: No experience needed; full internal training plus your VCA-Basic certificate paid for by Olympia
