Are you creative enough to find parts that almost no one else can find?
As Operational Buyer, you're responsible for sourcing parts for 1 aircraft, from A to Z. This isn't about fixed, recurring orders — that's administrative work here.
Your challenge is tracking down parts you don't know the source of in advance, and that are sometimes barely available on the market at all. "No" is not an answer for you: if the manufacturer can't deliver a part for months, you go looking for alternatives — for example, by creatively switching between other aircraft currently in for maintenance.
You work closely with a team of B1 mechanics, B2 electrical engineers, and the planning department. You'll also sit down with clients 1-2 times a week to explain the status of parts.
Waar ga je werken? You'll be working for a leading, independent aircraft maintenance organization in the Maastricht region. You'll be working right alongside the aircraft, as part of an international team with short lines of communication. It's a full-time position.
