As a Part-Time Store Associate, you are an important part of the customer journey, creating memorable experiences through great service, product knowledge, and genuine enthusiasm.

Working alongside a diverse and energetic team, no two days are the same. From helping customers find the perfect cheese to maintaining an inviting store environment, you play a key role in making every visit special.

Amsterdam Cheese Company shares the best Dutch cheeses with visitors from around the world. With stores located on Kalverstraat, Nieuwendijk, Leidsestraat, and Damrak, they offer a unique Dutch cheese experience in the heart of Amsterdam.

Your responsibilities include:

• Welcome customers and provide them with a warm and friendly experience;
• Share your knowledge of our cheese selection and recommend products based on customer preferences;
• Assist customers throughout their shopping journey and answer product-related questions;
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently;
• Replenish stock and ensure displays remain attractive and well-organised;
• Contribute to a clean, professional, and inviting store environment;
• Work closely with colleagues to deliver excellent customer service every day.

With your friendly and service-oriented attitude, you help create a welcoming shopping experience every day.

Who you are

• You have a positive and enthusiastic attitude;
• You have experience in retail, sales, or hospitality;
• You enjoy helping customers and giving advice;
• You are comfortable in a busy, international environment;
• You take initiative and approach customers proactively;
• You enjoy an active workday with lots of customer interaction.

• A rewarding hourly salary of €14.71 (21+) or €11.77 (under 21);

• You are available during the summer season without extended periods of leave;
