VAS Employee Samsung

Together with your team, you are responsible for inspecting products with damaged packaging. You also review returned items to check for any damage or defects. In many cases, only the packaging is affected, but sometimes the product itself no longer functions properly. In such situations, the item is assessed and, where possible, repaired.

As a Warehouse VAS Employee, you actively contribute and take initiative without hesitation. You stay focused during your work and are comfortable with physically demanding tasks. Your day starts with a team meeting alongside your colleagues and team leader, where the daily planning and tasks are discussed. Afterwards, you collaborate as a team to achieve the day’s objectives. Strong teamwork and a positive team spirit are therefore essential.

The VAS department is part of the European Distribution Center in Born. You will be working within a newly established team characterized by enthusiasm, a results-driven mindset, and a continuous focus on improvement.

In this role, your responsibilities include:

✅ Pre-installation: You prepare printers for immediate use by unpacking, testing, and configuring them according to customer specifications, ensuring they can be delivered as a true plug-and-play solution.

✅ Returns processing: You assess returned products for any damage or defects. If necessary, you repair or replace the packaging and accurately process all items in the system.

✅ Damage handling: You inspect incoming goods as well as products in the warehouse for any damage. You repair damaged packaging so that items can quickly be returned to stock.

✅ Customer communication: You handle daily communication to keep customers informed about the status and progress of returned goods.

✅ Warehouse support: You assist other operational departments when needed and help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in line with 5S principles.

Here’s what we expect you to bring:

✨ You are available full-time from Monday to Friday, from 07:00 to 16:00

✨ You have a good command of the English language, particularly with regard to workplace safety

The location is situated directly along the A2 motorway and is easily accessible by car from Sittard, Echt, Susteren, Brunssum, Geleen, and Aachen.
