Reach Truck Driver

As a reach truck driver at Samsung in Born, you contribute to delivering smart products used by people worldwide. Depending on your experience, you'll earn between €15.16 and €16.14 gross per hour.

In the warehouse, you collect orders using your reach truck. You move pallets to the right place and keep everything neat and organized. But your work is nicely varied: you also operate EPT trucks, seal and pack products, and help with loading and unloading trucks.

You work 40 hours a week, usually Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Sometimes you work shifted day shifts, for example from 6:40 AM to 3:40 PM or from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

You'll be working at Samsung in Born, a globally renowned company that creates smart technology. Whether you're in the warehouse or in production, your work contributes to products used by people worldwide.

The Born location is situated along the A2 and is easily accessible from Heerlen, Roermond, Weert, Sittard-Geleen, Brunssum and Landgraaf. There's free parking for cars and bicycles. Unfortunately, there's no public transport connection.

You'll work in various departments such as Expedition, Pallets, and Parcels. In total, you'll be working with about 80 colleagues. Each department has a supervisor who's there to help if you have questions. Before you start, you'll get three days of onboarding.

Samsung takes good care of its employees. There's a large canteen with table football, fresh fruit every Tuesday, and an annual Samsung party.

You enjoy working with concentration and precision. As a reach truck driver, you ensure that everything is in the right place in the Samsung warehouse in Born. This is a full-time position, but part-time is negotiable.

What you bring:

• You have experience operating a reach truck. This allows you to work safely and efficiently.
• You speak Dutch and/or English. This enables you to communicate well with your colleagues.
• You are physically fit. This is important for carrying out your tasks.

Do you have a reach truck certificate? That's great! But don't worry if you don't. With your experience, you can still obtain your certificate through us.
