This is what the position looks like:
As an IT support engineer at Braden, you are responsible for providing in-depth support for technical issues and resolving critical incidents. You take a leading role in designing and implementing scalable, reliable IT infrastructures while working closely with IT architects. Whether it involves virtualization, cloud platforms, or network security, you tackle complex challenges and resolve disruptions effectively.
In addition, you lead major IT projects such as system migrations, infrastructure redesigns, or the implementation of new security solutions. Your priorities? Efficiency and timely delivery. You also ensure a seamless knowledge transfer from the second to the third line and continuously improve process and troubleshooting procedures. Collaborating with external vendors, you resolve advanced hardware and software issues. Finally, you serve as the key intermediary between internal teams and external parties.

- The role is for a minimum of 32 hours per week, with flexibility regarding working hours.
- Every month, you receive a gross monthly salary starting at €4,000 (depending on your experience and qualifications, with room for growth).
- Each year, you enjoy 25 vacation days, 8% holiday pay, and an excellent pension scheme.
- For your commute, you receive a travel allowance of €0,23 per kilometer.
- Remote working is possible by arrangement, with a work-from-home allowance of €2,35 per day.
- A laptop is provided.
- Finally, you benefit from a performance-based 13th-month bonus (based on company results), which is almost always paid out.
What to bring?
- A completed degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field, along with at least five years of experience in an advanced technical support role.
- Knowledge of firewalls, routers, and security tools. You also have extensive expertise in server management, virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V), cloud computing (Azure, AWS), networking, and cybersecurity protocols.
- A strong command of the English language, both spoken and written. You are socially and communicatively strong.
- In your support role, you work with empathy and patience, and you can explain technical solutions in simple terms to non-technical users.
- You know how to prioritize tasks, distinguishing between the most important and less critical issues. Finally, you are reliable, loyal, and place a high value on integrity.
