Wat ga je doen?As a customer support representative, you are the first point of contact for students about the Geoversity online platform. You solve problems related to forgotten passwords, refund requests, unenrollment from a course and so on. Geoversity is an online platform for geographic information and education. It is supported by the ITC faculty of the University of Twente. With Geoversity they want to create an additional source of student inflow and income.
Furthermore, your tasks are:
- You keep the content of the website up to date and add new courses via Webhare
- You report and forward problems such as bugs or website pages that do not work to second line support
- You request information needed to create certificates for students. These certificates are based on standard templates, but are supplemented with information specific to each student
- You support the E-Learning team with creating and adding users to the Geoversity portal and removing students from courses
- You help the marketing team by collecting feedback from forms and sessions and by looking at SEO (search engine optimization)
- You help test new developments and revise the content of the website based on evaluation forms
You work 32 hours a week on location in Enschede. You start on May 13 2024, and you will receive a 6-month contract. You have the option to work hybrid.
Wie ben jij?As a customer support representative, you do not avoid any questions and you remain calm in stressful situations. You have a flexible and proactive approach, so that if work procedures change at short notice, you can deal with them well. You have a practical way of working. You enjoy working in an international environment with international employees and students.
In addition:
- You have an MBO 4/HBO working and thinking level
- Do you have experience with similar work? That's a bonus!
- You have a good command of the English language, both oral and written
- You are critical of existing processes and procedures in order to improve them
