Machine operator

Great! For Arla in Nijkerk, we are looking for a machine operator who wants to develop into an operator. You are enthusiastic and energetic. You enjoyed working in production for a while and would like to develop yourself into an operator. You are driven and want to feel at home in a team and company. You always look ahead and think in terms of solutions and opportunities. You enjoy working in a team and can also work independently. You are available in 3 and/or 5 shifts. In connection with the safety regulations, you can read and communicate in English and/or Dutch. In short: you like contributing to a good product of which you are proud!

• you are at least 18 years old;
• you enjoy working in a 3 or 5 shift system;
• you have a completed mbo education at level 3 or 4 or sufficient work experience;
• you are in possession of your own transport;
• you can communicate in Dutch in connection with the safety regulations;
• you have an affinity with engineering or technical knowledge.

You will start at Arla in the dairy filling and packaging production line. To make you feel at home as much as possible, there is an introduction period of 6 to 8 weeks. During your this period, you will be paired with a colleague who will teach you everything you need to know. After a few weeks, you will be able to operate the machine independently. How great is that?
Every day is a treat for you and you start your shift enthusiastically. You start with a cup of coffee and then go onto the work floor for a handover with your colleague. Afterwards, you check the machine and reset it if necessary.
You are also in charge of cleaning the machines, hygiene and order and tidiness on the work floor. You effortlessly spot faults and solve them.

• setting up and operating machines;
• cleaning and disinfecting the machines;
• troubleshooting (you love doing this and come up with good solutions!);
• you ensure safety, hygiene, order and tidiness in the workplace.

You will be working at Arla in Nijkerk. Arla is a large producer of delicious dairy products. At Arla, they make daily fresh dairy products such as milk, buttermilk, yoghurt and custard. But also the well-known Breaker and Skyr come from Arla.
