English Speaking TIG-Welder

Wat je gaat doen As a TIG-Welder you weld stainless steel piping and components that end up in machines for the semiconductor industry. The work is precise, the series are small, and every weld counts. If you are a TIG welder who likes to get it exactly right, this is a place where that matters.You work for an international manufacturer of stainless steel precision components, located in the Nijmegen region.
What you will do:

• TIG weld stainless steel pipes and components, working from technical and 3D drawings;
• Work with tubing from 10 to 100 mm in diameter and wall thicknesses of 1 to 3 mm;
• Purge piping systems before welding;
• Assemble and tack weld tube and box-section constructions;
• Check your own work for dimensions and alignment;
• Cut pipe material with a sawing machine.

​What ​you can expect from us:

• €4,000 to €4,300 gross per month, including shift allowance;
• Full-time, 40 hours per week;
• Two-shift system with weekly rotation: 
  • Early 06:00 to 14:30; 
  • Late 14:30 to 23:00;
• Good prospects of a permanent contract;
• 25 vacation days and 8% holiday allowance;
• Travel allowance of €0.25 per km;
• A modern, clean workplace and a supportive team.

Functie-eisen You work independently, and you are responsible for the quality of what you deliver.
What you bring:

• A TIG stainless steel qualification at Level 3/4 (EN 287), or Level 2 plus relevant work experience;
• Experience with TIG welding stainless steel piping and components;
• Experience with purging stainless steel piping;
• The ability to read technical and 3D drawings;
• Experience with assembling and tack welding tube and box-section constructions;
• Good level of English, German, or Dutch (minimum B1). Dutch is a plus, but you can work here in English;
• Your own transport and accommodation since this is not provided by Start People.
