As a heftruckchauffeur at DHL Express in Den Hoorn, you will contribute to the smooth operation of our logistics processes. Working in a fast-paced environment, you’ll use your skills to ensure that shipments are handled safely and efficiently. With a strong focus on teamwork, accuracy, and speed, you’ll play a key role in keeping our operations running seamlessly. What You Will Do:
- Heftruck operations: you move pallets and containers, ensuring shipments are placed in the correct locations.
- Loading and unloading: you assist in carefully loading and unloading trucks and vans to maintain efficiency.
- Sorting and checking: you sort packages by postal code and country, verifying labels for error-free processing.
- Building containers: you assemble and disassemble containers, preparing them for transport.
- Collaborating: you work closely with colleagues and team leaders to ensure smooth daily operations.
- A gross hourly salary of €16.11 (from age 18), plus an additional 6.24% flexible budget on top of your wage.
- A temporary contract with the prospect of a permanent position upon good performance.
- A part-time role of 6 to 20 hours per week, with flexible shifts of around three hours per day.
- 8% holiday allowance and 10% vacation hours accrual for paid time off.
- Travel reimbursement of €0.23 per kilometer for commuting.
- An extensive onboarding program and training to enhance your forklift and logistics skills.
We are looking for a precise and collaborative forklift driver to join our dynamic logistics team.
- Flexible availability for morning or evening shifts, 3+ days/week.
- Resides near Den Hoorn and has independent transportation.
- Holds a valid forklift certificate; no diploma required.
- Physically fit, reliable, and fluent in Dutch or English.
- Experience in loading, unloading, and sorting is a plus.
