As a Logistics Employee at GXO in the IKEA distribution center in Oosterhout, you will earn a starting salary of €17.27 gross per hour, with shift allowances increasing your hourly wage to up to €22.70 gross per hour.

In this role, you are an essential part of the logistics process. You will work in Oosterhout, centrally located in the region of Breda, Etten-Leur, Tilburg, Roosendaal, and Dordrecht.

As a Logistics Employee, you will be responsible for packing, checking, and preparing orders for shipment. You will use an electric pallet truck (EPT) and handheld scanner to collect products, check their quality, and make sure everything is packed neatly and safely.

You will work together with your team to make sure orders are shipped on time. You will keep your workplace clean and organized and help maintain a safe working environment.

Every day is different. One day, you may mainly be picking orders, while the next day you could be working at the packing station. As a Logistics Employee, you help ensure that customers receive their IKEA orders complete and on time. Thanks to your efforts, customers can quickly enjoy their favorite IKEA products at home.

You will work in a three-shift system, which means you may work early, late, or night shifts. This provides plenty of variety and flexibility throughout your working week.

The workplace is located in Oosterhout and is easily accessible from Breda, Etten-Leur, Tilburg, Roosendaal, and Dordrecht.

Your responsibilities

• Picking orders;
• Collecting products using an electric pallet truck (EPT);
• Working with a handheld scanner;
• Packing orders;
• Checking orders for quality and completeness;
• Preparing orders for shipment;
• Packing products neatly and safely;
• Working together with colleagues to ensure orders are shipped on time;
• Keeping your workplace clean and organized;
• Maintaining a safe working environment;
• Alternating between order picking and working at the packing station;
• Ensuring IKEA orders are complete and shipped on time.

Working hours

• Night shift: Monday–Friday, 22:00–06:00;
• Afternoon shift: Monday–Saturday, 14:00–22:00. On Saturdays: 13:30–21:15;
• Morning shift: Monday–Saturday, 06:00–14:00. On Saturdays: 06:00–13:30.
