Logistics Operator

Functieomschrijving:
As an omboxing employee, you work in a role where production, logistics and quality checks come together. You remove products from their current packaging, check them carefully and repack them for the next step in the process or for shipment. The work is active and physically demanding, so it is important that you can keep going during a busy shift. In general, your tasks are:

• Repacking products according to customer and production instructions.
• Removing products from existing packaging and preparing them for the next step.
• Checking labels, quantities, weight, packaging and product quality.
• Registering products, checks and order details with a scanner or computer system.
• Moving products and materials with an electric pallet truck.
• Driving a forklift and, if experienced, also using a reach truck.
• Supporting the production line and noticing small process deviations.
• Lifting, turning and moving products of around 15 kilograms.
• Working safely and hygienically according to HACCP guidelines.

Functievereisten:
This role is a good fit if you have experience in logistics or production and are used to practical, physical work. You do not need to be a full operator, but you do need to understand how a production environment works and be able to notice when something is not right. You match this role if you have:

• Experience in logistics, production, omboxing or order preparation.
• Able to perform physically demanding work.
• Experience with scanners, computer systems or order registration.
• Able to drive an electric pallet truck and preferably also a forklift.
• Reach truck experience is a strong plus.
• Good command of English.
• Willingness to work in a 2-shift schedule.
• Accurate working style and attention to quality, hygiene and safety.

• Gross monthly salary between €3.000,- and €3.300,- based on a 36-hour workweek.
• Shift allowance for working in a 2-shift schedule.
• Travel allowance of €0,23 per kilometer.
