Forklift Driver Day Shift Geodis

Wat je gaat doen As a Forklift Driver at GEODIS, you make sure goods are moved safely and efficiently through the warehouse. You will spend most of your working day operating a forklift.

Your tasks include:

• loading and unloading trucks with a forklift;
• transporting pallets through the warehouse;
• storing pallets in the correct warehouse locations;
• supplying and removing goods from working areas;
• checking incoming and outgoing shipments;
• reporting damaged goods or other issues;
• keeping your working area clean and safe;
• supporting order picking, packing and other warehouse activities when needed.

You will work closely with your colleagues to complete the daily schedule. Safety, accuracy and teamwork are important throughout your shift. Wat we je bieden As a Forklift Driver at GEODIS, you will receive:

• a gross hourly salary between €14.99 and €16.20, depending on your experience;
• guaranteed full-time working hours;
• a temporary contract with the possibility of a permanent position;
• a travel allowance of €0.25 per kilometre, up to €12.50 per day;
• 24 vacation days based on full-time employment;
• 8% holiday allowance;
• pension accrual according to the applicable scheme;
• the opportunity to obtain or renew logistics certificates through Start People;

You will work full-time in a fixed day shift:

• usually from 09:00 until 18:00;
• once every three weeks from 07:30 until 18:00.

This gives you a clear and predictable work schedule without rotating evening or night shifts. Functie-eisen We are looking for a reliable Forklift Driver who works safely and accurately.
You:

• have a valid forklift certificate;
• have experience operating a forklift;
• are available for the fixed day-shift schedule;
• are willing to support other warehouse activities when needed;
• can perform physically active warehouse work;
• follow safety and quality procedures;
• can apply for a Certificate of Conduct, known in the Netherlands as a VOG;
• speak Dutch, English or German.
