We are looking for a Forklift Driver / Production Operator to join a leading animal feed manufacturer in Ittervoort on a 5-shift rotation schedule. In this role, you will be responsible for mixing meat with other raw materials and ingredients to create the correct composition for the final product. You will work with both a mixing installation and a forklift.
What will you do?
- Operate a forklift to transport and move raw materials;
- Operate mixing installations to create the correct mixtures;
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment;
- Record production data;
- Identify and report process deviations.
You will work in a 5-shift system with the following working hours:
- 1:45 PM to 10:15 PM
- 9:45 PM to 6:15 AM
- 5:45 AM to 2:15 PM
You will work 8.5 hours per day and be paid for 8 hours. The schedule consists of 6 consecutive working days followed by 4 days off.
Waar ga je werken?You will be working for a specialist in animal nutrition. The company is highly automated and equipped with modern machinery. The work environment is open and informal, with colleagues working closely together as a team. Temperatures in the workplace can vary from cold to warm, and approximately 70 employees work at the Ittervoort location.
The company is easily accessible from Roermond, Weert, Venlo, Peel en Maas, Stein, and Sittard-Geleen.
Wie ben je?- A valid forklift certificate and proven forklift experience;
- Fluent Dutch language skills;
- Full-time availability to work in a 5-shift rotation.
- A starting salary between €14.99 and €16.50 gross per hour, depending on experience and knowledge;
- A 28% shift allowance on every hour worked, resulting in an hourly wage between approximately €18.83 and €21.12;
- Travel allowance of €0.19 per kilometre (from 10 kilometres onwards);
- A 6% year-end bonus on top of your hourly wage;
- Pension accrual from your first working day (via StiPP);
- Work clothing and safety shoes provided;
- The opportunity to obtain your Emergency Response Officer (BHV) certificate;
- You will start with a contract through Olympia, with the intention of being taken over by the client if suitable, offering the prospect of a permanent position.
