Help build the finance organisation behind one of Europe’s most innovative recycling companies.
This role offers a combination of operational finance and organisational development. Working closely with the Finance Director, you’ll support the day-to-day finance function while contributing to projects that improve financial processes, reporting and systems. You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership, work across multiple business functions and play an active role in the continued development of the organisation.
Your work will be a combination of operational finance and project-based improvements. Around 60% of your time will focus on the day-to-day finance activities, while the remaining 40% will be dedicated to improving systems, reporting and business processes. Your responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Finance Director in developing the Finance & Control, HR and Payroll function.
- Performing day-to-day finance, HR and payroll activities.
- Contributing to accurate and timely month-end and year-end closings.
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
- Developing management reports, KPIs and business information.
- Supporting the implementation of Exact Globe+ and its integration with other business systems.
- Helping to digitalise and automate finance and HR processes.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and internal controls.
- Working closely with Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain and Maintenance.
- Gradually taking over finance activities that are currently coordinated from the UK.
- A gross monthly salary between €4,000 and €5,500, depending on your knowledge and experience.

- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Business Economics, Accountancy or a related field. Candidates with a comparable level of knowledge gained through relevant work experience are also encouraged to apply.
- Several years of experience within finance, preferably in a manufacturing or international environment.
- Experience working with ERP systems. Knowledge of Exact Globe+ is an advantage but not essential.
- Affinity with HR, payroll and process improvement.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate financial information into meaningful insights. Good communication skills in both Dutch and English.
